Armenia Does Not Respond to Azerbaijan's Proposal to Exchange Prisoners, Killed Soldiers - State Commission
Baku / 26.10.20 / Turan: After reaching an agreement on a humanitarian ceasefire in Moscow on October 10, at the meetings of the Chairman of the State Commission for Captives, Hostages and Missing Citizens Ali Nagiyev and other authorized persons with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC ) in Baku, the Azerbaijani side expressed its readiness for a mutual exchange of bodies of dead servicemen.
In addition, Azerbaijan was ready for the unilateral return of the bodies of a part of Armenian servicemen.
Baku expressed its readiness to exchange two Armenian soldiers and two civilians for two Azerbaijanis held hostage by the enemy.
In addition, the Azerbaijani side is ready to unilaterally release the 85-year-old Armenian woman, whom the Armenian armed forces left in the combat zone during the retreat.
“Despite the above, until now Armenia has not responded to the proposals of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the release of prisoners and persons taken hostage, and the return of bodies,” the State Commission of Azerbaijan said.—06D-

Journalist Nargiz Abaslamova, held in Baku's Detention Center No. 1, was subjected to violence by a guard. While passing by the cell of her colleague Sevinj Vagifgizi, Abaslamova tried to greet her, reported on Abzas Media's Facebook page. However, guard Aygul Babaeva forcibly dragged Abaslamova away and deeply scratched the journalist's arm. Abaslamova stated that this is not the first time the mentioned guard has used force and been rude to journalists. A few days ago, Babaeva also used force against Sevinj Vagifgizi.
