On 29th Day of War, Nikol Ready for Compromises
Baku / 26.10.20 / Turan: «Armenia was as flexible as possible to resolve the conflict, but Azerbaijan did not want this,» said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan live on his Facebook page on October 26.
“If we agreed to something, it was no longer acceptable for Azerbaijan, because they wanted more. Azerbaijan now, all the more, does not want a settlement of the Karabakh issue, but at least the surrender of Karabakh,” Pashinyan said.
“Now I want us to answer the question. Are the Armenian people ready for compromises? I think yes, the Armenian people are ready for this. We are even ready for painful compromises, but are the Armenian people ready for surrender? I think that the Armenian people are not ready for this,” Pashinyan said.
“We must be able to find the resources to be able to make the situation such that Azerbaijan’s demand is reduced not to the surrender of Karabakh, but to compromises,” the Armenian leader said, without specifying what kind of compromises Armenia is ready for. -0-

Official Baku has condemned the visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to the Azerbaijan-Armenia border during his official visit to Armenia. "The visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to the to Armenia-Azerbaijan border area in the company of members of the EU Mission in Armenia (EUMA), unfortunately, is another demonstration of anti-Azerbaijani policy of different EU member countries and European institutions. We deeply regret that President of the country which is officially a “strategic partner” of Azerbaijan has participated in the unacceptable diplomatic “binocular show” leading to the aggravation of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland,”" reads the statement on the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ account on X (formerly Twitter).
