Baku/15.11.21/Turan: According to the presentation of the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Minister of Defense of this country Arshak Karapetyan has been dismissed from office and replaced by Suren Papikyan, an appropriate decree on this appointment is published on the website of the President of Armenia.

It should be noted that the regular replacement in the Armenian Defense Ministry coincided with the aggravation of the border situation and the loss of several positions and military equipment by the Armenians on the border with Kelbajar.

To this day, Papikyan has held the position of Deputy Prime Minister. He was born on April 26, 1986 in Stepanavan. Graduated from the history faculty of Yerevan State University. In 2012-2016, he studied at the graduate school of St. Petersburg State University. In 2018, he took the post of Minister of Territorial Administration and Development. On August 2, 2021, by the Presidential decree, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia. -02D-
