Armenia is ready to build railway and highway from east to west - Pashinyan
Baku/22.04.22/Turan: During the visit to Moscow, important agreements were reached on the issue of unblocking regional communications, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on Friday at a meeting of the Armenian government.
"Armenia is ready to start construction of a railway and a highway connecting the east and west through the territory of Armenia as soon as possible," he said, without specifying specific routes.
"We paid special attention to issues related to regional security and stability," Pashinyan said and expressed hope that the trilateral working group of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan would soon develop the necessary documents to start unblocking communications.
From this statement, it is important to mention the construction and the highway, which earlier the official Yerevan avoided. In fact, the talk is about the implementation of the Zangezur corridor, which Yerevan so vehemently rejected. -02D-
