Armenia launched a missile attack on Mingachevir
Baku/04.10.20/Turan: Armenia launched a missile attack on Mingachevir.
“Armenia continues terror at the state level against the civilian population. Only that the Armenian armed forces launched a missile attack on the industrial city of Mingachevir in Azerbaijan. Mingechevir is home to a reservoir and the main power plant. It is a barbaric expression of despair,” wrote assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev.
According to local sources, several rockets were fired at the city, none of which reached the target. The Mingechevir power plant and the Mingechevir Reservoir were not affected. Some missiles were intercepted and destroyed in the air. A fire broke out at the site of their fall in the forest belt. -0-
