Baku/04.09.21/Turan: For several days the Armenian press has been reporting on government's plans to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan under the patronage of Moscow.

To all appearance, this topic was central during recent visit of the Armenian Prime Minister to Moscow, and later a new Foreign Minister of this country.

Thus, the Yerevan edition of "Past" writes, as referred to its own sources, that the government apparatus and the Foreign Ministry report on active preparations for the conclusion of a peace agreement.

"According to Foreign Ministry sources, on behalf of Nikol Pashinyan, the Ministry's experts and a group of specialists in international law, together with the government's staff, have recently been conducting comprehensive studies in an attempt  to find precedents for similar documents and prepare for a possible negotiation process before the signing procedure.

In particular, it was instructed to draw up a complete package of documents, including specific proposals and requirements to be presented by the Armenian side during the talks, as well as probable concessions and compromises to make between the parties," the newspaper writes.

The Armenian side believes that preliminary discussions on the draft document may begin in October. - 02B-
