Armenian planes also fly through Azerbaijan
Baku/06.10.21/Turan: The Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia confirmed on Wednesday that a Baku-Nakhchivan flight was carried out through Armenia. “The use of the air spaces of Armenia and Azerbaijan for civilian aircraft has never been limited, except for the period of the 44-day war,” the Armenian media quoted the Committee as saying.
According to the same source, flights from Baku to Nakhchivan were carried out earlier - until November 8, 2014, after which the Azerbaijani side stopped them on its own initiative. At the same time, planes from Yerevan and to Yerevan flew through Azerbaijan all this time.
The aviation authorities of Armenia do not grant permits for transit flights, since the procedure does not require this, the department noted. -02D-
