Armenian Side about Capture of Karen Ghazaryan (updated)
Yerevan / 16.07.18 / Turan: The press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry said the Armenian citizen Karen Ghazaryan, who was captured in the Gazakh region on the eve of his birthday in 1984, is not a military man. He is a resident of the Berdavan village and a mentally ill person, in turn, told the Interior Ministry of Armenia.
The Armenian authorities appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the capture of Ghazaryan.
The Armenian side does not explain how Ghazaryan found himself on the Azerbaijani side.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported that on July 15 a sabotage action of a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armenian Armed Forces was prevented, and Ghazaryan was one of the members of this group. -02D-

The attempt of the enemy to commit provocation was suppressed as a result of the vigilance of the units of the Azerbaijani Army. A member of the sabotage group, which was forced to retreat, having suffered losses, was taken prisoner.
According to the captive, he is Karen Kazaryan (born in 1984).
