Armenian side confirmed "joint visit" of Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian military to Lachin
Baku/10.08.22 /Turan: The day before, the representatives of the Russian peacekeeping forces and the Azerbaijani military visited the city of Lachin and the village of Zabukh. They were accompanied by the "Secretary of the Security Council" of Karabakh Vitaly Balasanyan. This was reported today by the Armenian media with reference to the Karabakh separatists.
According to the Aravot newspaper, Balasanyan assured the Azerbaijani side that the Armenians would not burn houses when leaving. According to the same source, Balasanyan also got acquainted with the construction of a new road that will connect Karabakh with Armenia.
It should be recalled that Vitaly Balasanyan is among a large group of Armenian military accused by the Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office of committing war crimes during the First Karabakh War. In particular, he took part in the massacre of civilians of Khojaly in February 1992 -02D-
