Armenians continue attempts to create fortifications in Karabakh - MD
On May 30, starting from 11:55 to 16:25, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed, using various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of the Aghdam and Shusha regions.
The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures in these directions.
Moreover, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments, under the guise of agricultural work, attempted to install long-term fortification devices in front of the Azerbaijan Army’s positions stationed in the directions of the Chukhurmahla settlement of the Aghdam region, Yukhari Veysalli settlement of the Fuzuli region, Khirmanlar settlement of the Lachin region, and Marjimak settlement of the Kalbajar region.
The engineering work was immediately stopped as a result of the urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army Units.
