Baku / 27.11.20 / Turan: The administration of the Karabakh separatists has recognized that it must leave Lachin by November 30.
According to the Armenian press, residents of the city were ordered to leave it no later than November 30.
“The administration said we must leave and pack our things, everyone must leave by November 30. There should be no one here on December 1,” Aysor.am quotes a local resident.
“Yesterday and today we were kept in a tense state, and now the decision has already been finally made that we are leaving,” said the same resident.
Earlier, representatives of the separatists periodically made statements that Lachin would remain under the control of Armenians due to the fact that the road to Armenia passes here.
However, according to the trilateral agreement of November 10, Lachin should be returned to Azerbaijan on December 1. Russian peacekeepers will also remain in the city, guarding the road - Lachin corridor.
To remind, Lachin region was occupied by Armenians on May 18, 1992, 10 days after the occupation of Shusha.
There have never been any Armenian settlements in Lachin, and it is a purely Azerbaijani region. -02D-
