Armenians must learn a lesson from defeat and stop deceiving themselves - Ararat Mirzoyan
Baku/28.01.22/Turan: We must learn a lesson from our defeat in the 44-day war, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan told reporters today.
He rejected accusations that the Armenian authorities are betraying the country's interests by negotiating with Turkey. According to him, such talks are not new, they have been held since late 90s.
"Stop living under illusions; the disaster that happened to us is a result of great self-deception. We have to face reality, to be straightforward, not to hide anything," he said.
"We have nationwide red lines that should not be crossed, but we' re not the first and not the last nation to have had a long conflict with a neighboring country. We are determined to establish a long-term and stable peace," the Armenian Foreign Minister emphasized. -02D-
