Armenians report encirclement of Mardakert and cease-fire from 13 o'clock
Baku/20.09.23/Turan: With the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, an agreement was reached on a ceasefire in Karabakh from 13 o'clock on September 20. This was reported by the Armenian media with reference to the separatist leaders. It is also reported that the Karabakh people agreed to meet in Yevlakh with representatives of Baku on September 21.
Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani armed forces occupied the gold-bearing field of Gyzylbulag (Kashen), and earlier the village of Tonashen. After that, it was decided to evacuate the population from the Mardakert region center (Agdere), but the Azerbaijani armed forces destroyed the bridge at the exit from the city, so the evacuation was stopped.
In the west of Mardakert, the Armenian population was evacuated from the villages of Aterk (Hasan ris) and Vang.
Official Baku has not yet confirmed the ceasefire agreement, the meeting in Yevlakh and the situation in the Agdere region (Mardakert). -0-
