Armenians shelled Azerbaijani positions in Fizuli, Khojaly and Shusha
Baku/08.06.23/Turan: The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported shelling during the day on June 8 of Azerbaijani positions in Karabakh. In addition, according to the ministry, Azerbaijani units prevented the creation of fortifications by the Armenian military.
On June 8, from 11:25 to 18:40, Armenian armed formations periodically fired at Azerbaijani positions in the Fuzuli, Khojaly and Shusha regions.
The units of the Azerbaijan Army in these areas have taken adequate response measures, the press release further says.
In addition, the Armenians, “under the guise of agricultural work”, the Armenian military tried to establish long-term fortifications in front of the positions of the Azerbaijani military, located in the directions of Aghdam, Fizuli, Khojavend, Khojaly and Shusha regions.
"As a result of urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijani units, these works were immediately stopped," the message of the Azerbaijani military department concluded.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, “On June 8, at 17:00, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on Armenian positions located in the Tretuk region.”—06B-
