AZAL suspended flights to Turkey due to a lockdown in this country
Baku/28.04.21/Turan: On April 29, the state air carrier AZAL will suspend flights to Istanbul and Ankara. The reason for the suspension is the lack of demand for tickets in the near future. Thus, flights to Istanbul will cancel from April 29 to May 13, and flights to Ankara will suspend from April 29 to May 16. The Baku-Antalya flight has also been postponed until May 12.
According to AZAL, tickets purchased for these dates can be exchanged for Türk Hava Yolları flights or returned to AZAL without a penalty.
A complete lockdown with a ban on going out is announced in Turkey for the next two weeks. -0-
