Azerbaijan accused Armenia of creating tensions along the border of the two countries
Baku/16.07.21/Turan: Baku accused Yerevan of shelling the Azerbaijani positions on the border of the two countries in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR). Azerbaijan blamed Armenia for "creating tension along the entire length of the state border of the two countries."
“On July 16, at about 10:00 and 13:00, units of the Armenian armed forces from various weapons fired at the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border. In order to suppress the shelling, return fire was opened on the armed forces of Armenia located near the village of Arazdeyen in the Vedi region,” the press release of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. There are no dead or wounded among the personnel of the Azerbaijan Army, it was reported.
“Once again we declare that Armenia bears full responsibility for creating tension along the entire length of the state border of the two countries,” the press release noted. –0--
