Azerbaijan Also Recalls Its Ambassador from Greece
Baku / 08.10.20 / Turan: In response to the recall of the Greek ambassador from Baku, Azerbaijan also recalled its ambassador from Athens.
“On September 27 this year, a new act of aggression by the Armenian armed forces against the Republic of Azerbaijan began. In this context, open sources have reported on the arrival of citizens of Armenian origin from foreign countries, including Greece, to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan to participate in hostilities,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
According to the report, this information was brought to the attention of the Greek Foreign Ministry by the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan and an investigation of this information was requested.
After that, Greece decided to recall its ambassador to Azerbaijan for consultations.
