Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan sign a package of bilateral agreements
Baku/24.08.22/Turan: The talks between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, on August 24 in Baku, resulted in signing by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ilham Aliyev a Declaration on strengthening strategic relations and deepening allied cooperation between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The Comprehensive Program for the Development of Cooperation between the Countries for 2022-2026 was also signed.
The other documents were also signed :
- Agreement between the government of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on trade and economic cooperation;
- Cooperation Plan between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries for 2023-2024;
- Program for cultural cooperation between the Ministries of Culture of the two countries;
- Protocol on the establishment of frternal relations between the cities of Turkestan and Shusha;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan and the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of transit cargo transportation. --02D--

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi.
