Azerbaijan and the UAE have signed investment agreements

Armenia has responded to Azerbaijan's latest proposals regarding the draft peace treaty, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan stated  on July 25. “Armenia has responded to Azerbaijan's latest proposals regarding the draft peace treaty by sending the 9th edition of the text of the treaty,” Ani Badalyan said. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has not yet reported this. It should be recalled that in March 2022, Baku proposed to conclude peace on the basis of the following five principles:

On July 25, the trial  in the case of activist Ilhamiz Guliyev, who was arrested on drug charges, continued in the Baku Serious Crimes Court. At the beginning of the meeting, lawyer Zibeyda Sadygova petitioned to change the preventive measure for Guliyev to house arrest. According to the lawyer, Guliyev is being held in a hot cell where there is not even a fan, which is regarded as torture. However, the petition was not granted.

On July 25, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan received Louis Bono, the US State Department’s Senior Adviser  for Caucasus Negotiations.
