Azerbaijan, Armenia Agree on Truce
Baku / 17.10.20 / Turan: The Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia agreed for a temporary humanitarian truce at 00:00 on October 18.
This is stated in the message of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
This decision was made in accordance with the statements of the Presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries of the USA, France and the Russian Federation on October 1, the OSCE MG co-chairs on October 5 and the Moscow statement (Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Russian Federation) on October 10. -0-

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
