Baku/01.08.21/Turan: On August 1, at about 03:45, the Armenian armed forces’ units from the positions near the Arazdeyen village of the Vedi region using small arms subjected to fire the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Heydarabad settlement of the Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The Azerbaijan Army did not suffer any losses.
The opposing side was suppressed by retaliation fire.
Currently, the situation in this direction is stable, our units control the operational situation.-0-

Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
