Azerbaijan completely closes entry and exit to the country
Baku / 04.04.20/ Turan: From 00:00 hours on April 5 to 00:00 hours on April 20, the entry and exit to the territory of Azerbaijan by land and air transport, except for the carriage of goods, is completely suspended, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said in the evening on April 4.
This measure is being introduced in order to intensify work on the prompt detection of cases of coronavirus infection within the country, isolation, as well as identification of the circle of contacts of infected persons.
"Given the development of the global pandemic, Azerbaijani citizens abroad are urged to exercise restraint and strictly adhere to the quarantine regime of the host countries," it was informed. -0-

Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
