Azerbaijan defeated the enemy, but not bribery - Sabir Rustamkhanli
Baku/21.10.21/Turan: The authorities should take more seriously the proposals of the opposition, which, together with the authorities, should take part in resolving issues related to Karabakh, stated on Thursday the leader of the Civic Solidarity Party, MP Sabir Rustamkhanli at a round table organized by the ruling New Azerbaijan Party.
Recalling that a year has passed since the victory in the Karabakh war, Rustamkhanli said that there are factors that cast a shadow on the joy of the people, undermine their confidence, and they must be eliminated. “After the war, we dreamed of starting a new era. At first it was, but then again the offices of officials were closed to the people. Officials forget about their responsibility. We defeated the enemy, but failed to defeat the bureaucracy and bribery. Probably, this also requires a 44-day war. The official should be far from glorification, from the hypocrisy of sycophancy,” Rustamkhanli said.
On the other hand, there must be unity among political parties. The dialogue should not be decorative; there should be no slander between the authorities and the opposition.
“The authorities must take seriously the issues raised by the opposition, which is closer to ordinary citizens. The opposition should, along with the authorities, participate in the Karabakh issue and creative work,” Rustamkhanli said.
Representatives of other political parties also took part in the round table. However, as before, the authorities ignored the main opposition forces of the country - the Popular Front and Musavat. - 06D-
