Azerbaijan does not recognise so-called "parliamentary elections" in Abkhazia
Baku/14.03.22/Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry says that it does not recognize the so-called "parliamentary elections" in Abkhazia.
"Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reaffirms its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and does not recognize the so-called "parliamentary elections" held in the Abkhazia region of Georgia on 12 March, as well as their results," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Foreign Ministry emphasizes the importance of continuing negotiations over a peaceful settlement of the Abkhaz question in line with norms and principles of international law. -05D-
