Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry calls on Armenia to stop provocations at the border
Baku/02.06.21/Turan: The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemned another provocation by the Armenian Armed Forces on the border with Azerbaijan, when about 40 military invaded Azerbaijani territory in the Kalbajar region on June 1 in the evening.
The statement of the Foreign Ministry indicates that the Armenian military, who entered the territory of Azerbaijan, were evicted by the Azerbaijani military without the use of weapons.
“The ongoing provocations of Armenia at the border demonstrate that it is deliberately aggravating the situation,” the document says.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry points out the inadmissibility of such provocations and stresses the importance of resolving differences on the border issue through negotiations. Azerbaijan supports the process of delimitation and demarcation of the borders of the two countries.

The Armenian Defense Ministry denied the fact of crossing the Azerbaijani border by its military, calling it disinformation. -06D-
