Azerbaijan handed over the bodies of three dead soldiers to Armenia
Baku/20.11.21/Turan: The Azerbaijani authorities, with the mediation of the Russian side, handed over to the Armenian side the bodies of three servicemen who died during the fighting on the border of the two countries on November 16.
According to the Armenian media, the transfer of the bodies took place on November 19 near the town of Shusha, and they were delivered to Yerevan on the same day.
The Armenian authorities initially announced 1 dead, 13 captured and 24 missing soldiers during the fighting on the border on November 16. Yesterday, the Armenian side had already recognized 6 of its soldiers killed.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia announced the continuation of work "on the return of prisoners captured as a result of hostilities and the search for missing persons" with the mediation and participation of the Russian side.-06B-
