Azerbaijan hands over bodies of 32 Armenian soldiers to Armenia
Baku/17.09.22/Turan: Azerbaijan handed over to Armenia the bodies of 32 Armenian soldiers who died during the escalation at the border on September 12-14. This was announced on Saturday by the State Commission of Azerbaijan on the affairs of prisoners of war, hostages and missing citizens.
The report notes that the bodies of 32 Armenian servicemen found in the territories that came under Azerbaijani control after the hostilities were examined together with the relevant employees of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and no traces of violence were found on them. On September 17, these bodies were handed over to the opposite side, the report emphasizes.
“Currently, other bodies of Armenian servicemen are being examined and they will also be handed over in the near future," the commission said.
Earlier, on September 14, Azerbaijan announced its readiness to transfer the bodies of up to 100 soldiers to Armenia.-06V-

On September 11, the Baku Court of Appeal heard the appeal of Hafiz Babali, the economics editor at Turan News Agency, against the newspaper "Iki Sahil."
