Azerbaijan intends to strengthen "North-South" corridor - Ilham Aliyev
Baku/18.11.22/Turan: Strengthening of "North-South" transport corridor is in the interests of all countries involved in this project and will open new prospects for business. President Ilham Aliyev said this on Friday at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Aliyev spoke in favor of further growth of mutual trade and transit cargo transportation. In this regard, strengthening of the potential of the North-South corridor will be of great importance, Aliyev said.
Mishustin, in turn, expressed his conviction that joint infrastructure and logistics projects would become a new driver to expand cooperation. "I would like to mention especially the western route of the North-South international transport corridor. We expect to increase the volume of transportation up to 15 million tons per year by 2030", - he said. -0-
