Azerbaijan Prepares Documents for Accusing Armenia of Causing Damage - Prosecutor General
Baku/20.02.21/Turan: The law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan continue to collect evidence in the framework of criminal cases in connection with the aggression of Armenia. This is necessary to ensure the prosecution of Armenia in the international arena. Prosecutor General of the country Kamran Aliyev stated this in an interview with the Milli Mejlis magazine.
According to him, the work is carried out in two directions: on criminal prosecution, and on demand for compensation outside of criminal prosecution. The second direction covers the actual damage caused by the Armed Forces of Armenia, as well as the loss of income.
In order to establish damage, investigators of the prosecutor's office inspect everything destroyed in the liberated territories, documenting what they saw, Kamran Aliyev said.
He did not say when this work will be completed and to which international structures Azerbaijan's claims to Armenia will be presented. -02B-
