Prosecutor's Office Investigating Death of Worker Who Fell from Twelfth Floor
Baku/20.02.21/Turan: A criminal case has been launched in the Narimanov District Prosecutor's Office of Baku on the death of a worker during the construction of a multi-storey building. The accident happened around 4 pm on Friday.
During the preliminary investigation, it was established that the worker Gamet Agayev, born in 1992, having lost his balance, fell from the 12th storey of the building being erected on the basis of a contract by Colosium LLC. Agayev died on the spot from his injuries.
The criminal case is investigated under Art. 222.3 (violation of safety rules during construction work, resulting in the death of a person through carelessness) of the Criminal Code. The necessary investigative actions are being carried out, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said. –06B-
