Azerbaijan Ready to Unilaterally Transfer Bodies of Killed Armenian Soldiers
Baku / 18.10.20 / Turan: The Azerbaijani authorities expressed their readiness to unilaterally transfer the bodies of Armenian military personnel through the mediation of the Red Cross. This is stated in the message of the state commission.
It notes that the State Commission stated at meetings with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross that Baku "in accordance with the spirit of the temporary humanitarian truce announced between Azerbaijan and Armenia" is ready to unilaterally transfer some of the bodies of Armenian servicemen on the Azerbaijani side to Armenia through the mediation of the Red Cross on a pre-agreed corridor on the Tovuz direction of the state border.
There was a request from the representatives of the Red Cross to convey this proposal to the opposite side, the message said. — 06D-
