Azerbaijan strengthens measures against coronovirus
Baku / 28.01.20 / Turan: On January 28, a meeting on measures against the coronavirus epidemic was held in the Cabinet of Ministers. The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister with the participation of heads of several departments, the press service of the Cabinet said. It was decided to take measures to prevent the entry of coronovirus into the country:
- Transition to heavy duty at border crossing points;
- Mandatory physical examination of all persons coming from China and taking them under control;
- preparing a high-risk food list through which the virus can spread, and tightening controls in food markets;
- Creation of a “hot line” in medical facilities;
- conducting educational work and regularly informing the public about the situation.
At the meeting, it was noted that the country has enough medical supplies needed to combat the epidemic. For today, there are no cases of infection with this virus in the country. -02D-
