Azerbaijani Ambassador to arrive in Israel in February
Baku/30.01.23/Turan: The first Azerbaijani ambassador to Israel, Mukhtar Mammadov, will arrive in Tel-Aviv in February, the Israeli media reported, noting that Azerbaijan will become the first Shiite country to open an embassy in Israel.
Baku decided to open an embassy in Israel last fall against the backdrop of aggravated relations with Iran.
Meanwhile, the Israeli embassy in Baku has been operating for about 30 years. -02D-
