Azerbaijani Armed Forces Continue Strikes against Enemy, High-ranking Officers Killed
Baku / 29.09.20 / Turan: During the counter-offensive operations of the Azerbaijani army, the command post of the 3rd battalion, 1st regiment of the Armenian army in the village of Hadrut, Khojavend region, was destroyed by fire.
The Azerbaijani military also destroyed the commander of the 13516th military unit of the 61st separate engineering regiment of the Armenian army stationed in Echmiadzin, Spartak Kocharian.
Also killed was the chief of artillery of the 18th motorized rifle division, stationed in the direction of the Jabrail region, Colonel Karen Babayan.
The Azerbaijani army repulsed the Armenian counterattack in the south of the Fizuli region. The enemy retreated, leaving the corpses of their soldiers on the battlefield.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan also denied the message of the Armenian Armed Forces about the alleged downed Azerbaijani helicopter. During today's operations, the Azerbaijani army did not use helicopters at all.
In the battles in the direction of the Geyarkh village of the Agdara region, the Azerbaijani army destroyed an Armenian tank. Several more armored vehicles were destroyed in other directions.-06D-
