Azerbaijani Defense Minister held a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces
Baku/25.01.22/Turan: Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, who is on a visit to Iran, was received on January 25 by Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammed Bagheri.
"I hope your visit to Iran will be a good opportunity to develop and strengthen relations," IRNA quoted Bagheri as saying.
Regarding Iran's policy, Bagheri said: “The liberation of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, which took place three decades later, pleased the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the people of Iran.
“We are anxious about the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” he said. -02D-
