Azerbaijani Defense Ministry announced the capture of a strategic height on the Murov ridge
As a result of the military operation of Azerbaijani troops in the direction of the Goranboy region, an important strategic height on the Murov ridge was taken, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported.
As a result of the operation, the military road Vardenis-Agdere (Mardakert), which connects Armenia with the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, was taken under control, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said.
The achieved military advantage makes it possible to prevent the transfer of additional military cargoes from Armenia in the direction of Kelbajar and Agdere, the military department of Azerbaijan emphasizes.

As the presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev said at the briefing, several more heights were taken on the Murov ridge.
