Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denies Yerevan's allegations of shelling Armenian positions
Baku/21.11.22/Turan: The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense refuted the information of the Armenian military that the Azerbaijani servicemen allegedly fired at the Armenian positions on the border between the two countries in the evening of November 20.
"According to the information spread by the Armenian side the Azerbaijani army shelled the positions of Armenian armed forces at 21 p.m. on November 20; however, this is contrary to the reality.
We categorically reject the information disseminated by the Armenian Ministry of Defense," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated on Monday morning.
Earlier, the Armenian Ministry of Defence stated that "on 20 November at 9 p.m., the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire with small arms of different calibres in the direction of Armenian positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border."-068-
