Azerbaijani embassy confirms closure of land border with Georgia
Baku/27.02.20/Turan: Georgia temporarily restricted overland entry and exit with Azerbaijan. The information was confirmed by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, Georgian media reported.
The restriction is planned for two weeks. The embassy also said that so far there is no information whether there are Azerbaijani citizens among those placed in the Tbilisi hospital with suspected coronavirus.
Last day in Georgia was recorded the first case of coronavirus infection by a 50-year-old Georgian citizen who returned from Iran through Azerbaijan. His health is assessed as stable. -02D-
