Baku/09.09.23/Turan: The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expressed condolences over the numerous victims of the devastating earthquake in Morocco.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of life as a result of the earthquake in Morocco. We express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all the injured," reads a message posted on the account of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on platform X.
Recall that the earthquake of magnitude 7 occurred in Morocco at 23:11 local time on Friday. The epicenter was located 77 km southwest of the cultural capital of Marrakesh. The earthquake caused severe destruction. According to the latest data, more than 600 people were killed. -06B-
