Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Protests Tehran
Baku /16.04,20 / Turan: The day before, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafoa held telephone conversations with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Aragchi and te Iranian Ambassador to Baku, Javad Jahangirzadeh.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, during the conversation they discussed the video on social networks made in Karabakh, on which Iranian trucks transport fuel and food to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
This caused serious concern of the Azerbaijani government and deep discontent of the country's public, Khalafov said. According to him, such actions are aimed at supporting the occupying country - Armenia and the escalation of the conflict. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expects the Iranian side to conduct an investigation and clarify this issue.
The Iranian Deputy Minister, in turn, called the video disinformation. Aragchi complained about the “presence of enemies of Iran-Azerbaijan friendly relations,” which spread such misinformation.
Note that we are talking about the report filmed in Karabakh by one of the local bloggers, before whose eyes dozens of Iranian trucks enter Karabakh. —06D-
