Azerbaijani-German Inter-MFA Consultations
Baku / 08.05.19 / Turan: On May 7, political consultations were held in Baku between representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Germany.
From the Azerbaijani side, Deputy Minister Khalaf Khalafov, and from the German side, Commissioner for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia, Michael Siebert participated in the consultations.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported that the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and the possibility of deepening economic ties.
The meeting also touched on the Karabakh conflict. Khalafov thanked Germany for recognizing the territorial integrity and supporting the sovereignty of Azerbaijan. -02D-
