Azerbaijani military consultative meeting with NATO command representatives in Ramstein
Baku/22.04.23/Turan: A consultative meeting on self-assessment exercises with the participation of the Azerbaijani Air Force servicemen and representatives of the NATO Mobile Training Team of the Air Force command in Ramstein was held within the framework of the 2023 Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the NATO.
The NATO Mobile Training Group conducted a training course on "The Use of Helicopters in Operations" and explained the topics concerning evaluation activities, the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported.
During the event, held within the framework of the Operational Capabilities Concept, briefings on the organization of operations in accordance with NATO standards, ensuring defence and security measures, as well as other issues were presented to the relevant Air Force units. -06В-

When asked about the arrested climate activists and opposition figures in Azerbaijan, she stated that Germany advocates for the release of government critics and that she would raise this issue during her meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister. Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
