Azerbaijani opposition prepares for mass rally in defense of Ukraine
Baku/25.03.22/Turan: The National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDА) has scheduled a rally in support of Ukraine for April 2.
Member of NDCA Coordination Council and head of the Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA) Ali Kerimli wrote on his Facebook page that a notice to the executive power of Baku offered to coordinate the rally in one of the following places: Mehsul stadium, a park in front of Narimanov metro station and "Ukraine Square".
The purpose of the rally is to protest against the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the bombing of civilians, and to demand an end to this war of occupation, Kerimli said.
The official authorities have not yet responded to the NCDA's decision to hold the rally.-03B06-
