Baku denies reports about the arrest of Azerbaijani subversives by Armenians
Press Service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied reports of the Armenian sources on the attempt of suppression a sabotage from the Azerbaijani side. Messages about attempts to sabotage, its preventing, and the arrest of the members of the group do not correspond to reality, Turan was told by the spokesman.
On July 10 the Armenian media gave a confusing information on the Suppression of Azerbaijani sabotage in the Kalbajar region. However, initially it was reported that in this city (occupied by Armenians in April 1993) were seen two Azerbaijanis, one was detained, and the second escaped.
Later the Armenian side said that "an attempt of reconnaissance and sabotage operations" was prevented. At the same time, "the enemy was revealed in time, some of its members were arrested, the others – ran away," says the press service of the Defense Ministry. -02D-
