Baku offers itself as a mediator for reconciliation between Russia and Turkey
Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov said that Baku is ready to mediate for normalization of relations between Ankara and Moscow.
Azerbaijan regrets that the Turkish-Russian relations have aggravated ,Mammadov wrote on his official page on Twitter.
"Turkey is our closest ally. Russia is also friendly country. Both countries have historical ties with Azerbaijan and Turkey, and with Russia our relations are at the highest level," Mammadov continued.
According to him, Azerbaijan is ready to contribute to the reduction of tension between the sides. -06В-
