Battalion of 556th Regiment of Armenian Armed Forces Destroyed
Baku / 21.10.20 / Turan: During the last battles in the Jabrayil direction, the battalion of the 556th regiment of the Armenian Armed Forces was completely defeated, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported on the morning of October 21.
According to the same source, the battalion, which consisted of about 400 contract soldiers, was almost completely destroyed. For additional equipment, the remnants of the unit were returned to the city of Ararat in Armenia.
The regiment commander was dismissed from his post for the refusal of his servicemen to go into battle, Some of them were brought to criminal responsibility.
It should be reminded that during the night battles serious damage was inflicted on several other Armenian units in the same sector, and their attempt to counter-attack in the Khudaferin region was buried.
Earlier, the Armenian side reported about "huge" success in this direction. Allegedly, the Armenians staged hell for the Azerbaijani military. It seems that with such myths the Armenians are trying to raise the broken morale of their army. -02D-
