Belgian Foreign Minister received in Milli Majlis
Baku/25.08.23/Turan: On Friday, Belgian Foreign Minister Haja Labib, who is on a visit to Baku, was received by Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis.
Gafarova informed about the process of restoring the territories liberated from the Armenian occupation and the return of Azerbaijani refugees there, the press service of the Milli Majlis.
She touched upon the situation on the Lachin road, accusing Armenia and Western countries supporting it of misinforming the international community and distorting the real situation.
Stating that the Armenian residents living in Karabakh are citizens of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova recalled that Baku offers the necessary steps for their reintegration into Azerbaijani society.
Gafarova criticized 5 unilateral and biased resolutions against Azerbaijan adopted in the Belgian parliament over the past 3 years.
In turn, Haja Labib informed about the goals of his visit to the region, noting the importance of mutual visits. She stressed the importance of ensuring peace and security in the region, including the clearance of territories. According to her, Belgium wants to promote peace. ---0---
