Biden outlined priorities for cooperation with Azerbaijan
Baku/19.03.22/Turan: US President Joe Biden sent a congratulatory message to the head of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of Novruz holiday.
“I wish you and the people of Azerbaijan a joyful and prosperous Novruz holiday. This time of renewal is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to cooperation and peace,” the message reads.
Noting that this year marks 30 years of diplomatic relations between the US and Azerbaijan, Biden says his administration will continue to support democracy, peace and progress in the South Caucasus. "We will also work with Azerbaijan to address common security concerns, promote regional reconciliation and explore new opportunities for economic cooperation," Biden further emphasizes.
