Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan sign Declaration on Strategic Partnership
Baku/13.04.23/Turan:On Tuesday, the head of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zeljka Cvijanovic and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a Declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries in Sarajevo.
"We have decided to be strategic partners, and I am sure that we will behave in this way. This declaration will make it possible to achieve better mutual understanding, political consultations, improve economic cooperation and serve as a basis for more effective cooperation in the field of security," Tsvianovich said at the signing ceremony.
In turn, Aliyev noted that a joint economic commission will be created, specific projects were discussed, and working groups will take concrete measures in the near future.
"We are interested in investing in your country, especially in the energy sector, as well as in infrastructure projects in neighboring countries. The Balkans are of great importance to us," Aliyev said.
"Baku and Sarajevo are twin cities, and I am convinced that after this meeting our friendship will be further strengthened," he stressed. ---02D---
