Candidate for MP declares pressure on voters
Baku / 30.01.20 / Turan: A candidate for deputy in the 94th Barda constituency from the Musavat party, Dadash Ahmedli, reported pressure on local residents campaigning in his favor.
He claims that in the village of Lemberan, fences from the dry branches of five local residents were set on fire, who were campaigning in his favor.
The candidate believes that representatives of local executive structures did this.
The total length of the fences is 600 meters.
“We will file a complaint with the Ministry of Ecology, the prosecutor’s office, the district election commission and the CEC. This is pressure on me, crimes against voters,” Ahmedli told Turan.
It was not possible to get comments from the Executive branch of the Barda district and the district election commission.
